How to Obtain Spanish Driving License
The process of obtaining Spanish driving license consists of two stages:
A theoretical examination held by the DGT(Dirección General de Tráfico/General Traffic Department). This driving theory test takes place in a form of a multiple choice exam that consists of 30 questions. Student must have at least 27 correct answers in order to pass the examination. Exam is in English.
Second part of obtaining a Spanish driving license starts once the theoretical driving exam is successfully passed. This stage consists of a driving test on public roads of Barcelona. Practical driving exam duration is approximately 25 minutes and is assessed by a official driving instructor of DGT that will sit on the back seat while the examination takes place.
Great news on this part are that we will give you all the necessary guidance to pass the examination and also our driving instructor will be on the front passenger seat during the exam to help with the translations and also make you feel more comfortable and confident during your exam. Great news is that you will give your practical driving exam on the exact same car that you used to practice during your driving classes at Driving School Barcelona. This is a great advantage as it positively affects the outcome of the practical test as you are examined in a car that you are very well accustomed to and already feel in synergy with.
